Kids Talk.............

We will be amazed to see how kids can say something spontaneously... Most of the times it is funny... makes us laugh, giggle, smile... at times angry and we'll stare at them... sometimes makes us think also... I have many experience like this... My son would say something and at times I will be speechless... Do not know what to answer or reply... He is a bit talkative... Reckon its mother's genetic... Jayshraj is with my parents in Kampar and I'll be travelling cause of work and all...Too pampered... He is very attached with my mother and Meera my sister...

He is 6 years old now... Along the years since he start talking we all had many good times... I can say it is a great healer... Many times when we are sad or upset... just have to call and talk to him... Real comfort... Missing him so much... Almost everyday I call him...

I would like to share some of the moments with Jayshraj my son...

2005

Jayshraj started talking... he would call names of our family members as he likes... some interesting ones...

He started calling me Ambbi Akka... as my sisters calls me... now Ambbima
My Amma (Mother) - is My mother who is his grandmother
Meera Amma - Iama then became Miyama
Atthe (My brothers wife) - Maamathe... Cause my brother is Maama
Malar Amma - Mamama
Our Chinese neighbour - Mummy
Our cousin sister - Kaili Perima... 1st time when he saw her she was holding a "kaili"(batik cloth)...

"Why you don't know anything? Tata knows everything"

One day we both went out to Ipoh... I was driving and he was sitting beside me looking outside asking so many questions... At one point I was so lazy to answer and said I don't know for most of his questions... I told not to disturb because I am driving... He stopped a while then started... Near Kampar traffic light he saw a long trailer... It was closed with a canvas so we could not see what is it carrying behind... Suddenly he asked me..."Ambbima...why is the lorry covered" ...I said..."I don't know".... He looked at me and asked very curiously..."Why ha, you don know anything? Tata knows everything... He always teach me"...."Tata" is my father... He always travels with my parents and they are so patient so answer all his questions... I felt so shame and quickly answered his question... I laughed till reach home... He kept asking why...

"I saw something there... Pls come and see if it's expensive..."

I was with him in Guardian Pharmacy... I was at one corner getting lotion and other toiletries... Jayshraj came hold my hand very calmly and told me to look at him..."Sorry Ambbima... I was walking that side... I saw a spider man and batman toothbrush... very nice... Can you please come and see if it is expensive... not now... when you are done... Only see if cannot it's ok..." and the cheeky smile...I squat down and held him around cause was amazed by the way he used his words to get what he wanted... and ended up going home with spider man, batman and superman...

"Appa you try first"

We took him to our family friends house... They gave hot milo to drink... He felt the mug... it was hot... He told his father.. "Appa you try to drink first... It's ok if your mouth get burned..." We all laughed... Anyway his father tried...

"If I know... sure I can take and give you now"

While playing with Sachievraj... Jayshraj left my mothers phone some where and they cant find it... All scolded him and the 1st question from all is "where you left it".... He was not quite aware of the lost and was still playing around... but the question "Where you left it" really need to be answered... His best answer was "If I know... sure I can take and give you now"

Hahahaha... What you call that...

"Perima... don't have to call before coming..."

This one is a bit too much and kids should not talk this much... He got it from my mother for saying it but it made us laugh so have to share it... My parents and Jayshraj met one of my cousin in town... after saying hi and all... before getting into the car my mother told my cousin to come over to our place on Sunday for a visit and she went into the car... My cousin said... "Ok cithi I will call if I am coming"... That's when Jayshraj the big mouth naughty fatty put a break before getting into the car and walk to my cousin... "Kaili Perima... you come on Sunday but don have to call and come... Then my mother will have to go to market and cook special... You just come..." My mother in the car didn't know what happen... Then later on Saturday she called to say they are not coming cause got something else... and told this story to my mother and laughed... My father's nieces are so cool and funny... they took it as a joke... When my mother scold him as usual he has his answer to escape... "I said cause you are tired... Sunday is holiday..." aaahhhh so sweet my chellam got a hug...

"Don't cry Ambbima... I will come and get you..."

I called him... While talking can't control my tears... He will always find out if I cry... I asked why... I said because I am in Australia... "Ambbi ma if you don like why are you in Austarlia... Come back..." I said I cant... Appa wants to be here... He is so sweet and loving... "OK... Ambbima don cry... You wait there... I will come and take you away from appa..." That is the greatest Mantra... I miss my Kidiki...

Many more funny... touching... caring ... naughty and cheeky moments to be shared... HAPPY NEW YEAR My dear friends and family...

Masala Tea....

Drinking tea is a habit for most of us... Its a daily routine... In the evening around 4pm to 5pm its TEA TIME... My father never misses his tea time... I am not a big fan of tea though... but lately I started drinking masala tea at my friend Aman's house...I liked it a lot... with the spice taste and good Indian aroma... I learned making simple masala tea at home from her... Now it is one of my specialty... Haha...Should try it... Our superb masala tea with all the benefits in the ingredient...

Simple tips for Foot Massage....

Massage is described as "therapeutic touch".... It is a way of using the natural human instinct for touching and being touched as a mean of healing illness and promoting well being... There many kinds of therapeutic touch...Foot massage, reflexology and acupressure are few ways used on feet to the benefit of your mind and body... Our feet takes a great punishment in the course of the day, yet they are so often left out of pampering... There are many ways to give our own feet a special treat... In a way it will relax and stimulate the whole body...

I developed a passion of getting this foot massage... I get it done almost ten days once... It has been a habit and I feel my legs and body needs pampering... I have recommended many of my friends and family to go for reflexology... First time I took my mother, she almost kicked the masseur... Now she is also addicted like me... In Kuala Lumpur there are few places I really like to go such as Endah Parade in Sri Petaling they have so many outlets... one of them is Reborn... Reborn has many branch all over Malaysia... Really miss going there...

Photo taken at a Reflexology shop... I and my friend used to enjoy it...

Our feet supports us... they take us wherever we want to in life... They are highly sensitive and responsive to touch... They contain more than 14,000 nerve endings between them... stroking and rubbing the feet can have a relaxing effect on the entire body... Foot massage is one of the most effective ways of lifting your mood... Give your feet a few minutes rub to warm them up... Baby oil could be used... Reflexology and soothing massage helps you sleep at night... Follow your instincts to touch and be touched... give your inner self a boost by holding and massaging your feet... Of course it would not be as good as when someone do it for you, but at times some people just cannot stand the pain... Also not always we are able to go out for a massage...

Here are some tips and the points how you could do your own massage and relax yourself...

Below is chart of some PRESSURE POINTS

When you are doin your RIGHT FOOT...

Bring your right foot to rest on your left knee...
Make sure you are sitting in a comfortable position...
Apply oil...
Start with gentle stroking...
Hold feet between your hands...
Slide them from heel to toe...
Keep the pressure steady and firm...
Use your thumb and fingers to hold and curl round the sole and heel...
Do it three times...
Make circular movement with your knuckles to apply pressure on the points...
Apply deeper pressure on points which needs more attention...
Now repeat it few times...
Like wise for LEFT FOOT...

You can massage on certain points when need... for example if you cannot sleep or nose blocked... look for the point from the chart and give a rub with your knuckle... should be a relieve... Use baby oil or any healing oil...

Fast strokes - Stimulates and energizing
Slow rhythmic strokes - Relaxing effect
Deep pressure - Can be used to release muscular tension... relieve stress
Gentle pressure - is soothing and calming effect for mind and body

These are some ways that I use at home... Thought it might be useful for you all... Take good care of your feet... they take us wherever we want to in life...
